Boys Who Love Their Birkins...

I am a major fan of Hermès, I love the classic Birkin and recently when researching this iconic bag I was taken aback. Not only by the recent influx of every celebrity in LA owning one of these beauties, but also by its transformation into a unisex piece of arm candy. It seems the Birkin is fast becoming the ultimate accessory for any modern man wanting to complete his look. Lets face it, its the equivalent to topping a piece of cake with a diamond, yeah the outfit looks good but who the hell cares when there's a Birkin around?! I'm not 100% sold that the Birkin is a man bag or even a unisex bag. In my mind its invariably a woman's accessory. But then again so it the bow tie, and look how it has been transformed by Chanel.

I just love it. Its so chic and so practical, which is such an oxymoron because clutches in essence can essentially be very un-practical. The portfolio clutch however addresses this problem. Seen during S/S 2010 fashion weeks across the globe it seems that from Milan to Paris, New York and London girls are filling their large satchel like clutches with everything they need such as iPads, moleskines and trashy novels. Its the new way to have the office on the go, all awhile strengthing your biceps.  A hybrid of the satchel and portfolio bag, the clutch can be in a range of colours and styles. Here are some of my favourites.

Oooo Cheeky

Spring is on its way and I'm super excited. Its my favourite season, and this year it means pop colours and a cheeky attitude!
